As of last week I’ve been back out in the wallum intensively surveying my transects again, mainly for the wallum sedgefrog (Litoria olongburensis). Very appreciative of the company of a few people once again! Nothing much new to report, though I did come across a frog I see very little of – see last frog photo!
Oh, and about both ends of the extreme. At the onset of my second round of frogging, it was still only 18 degrees at midnight during the first few nights – very comfortable indeed. However, during my latest surveys, it got down to 3.5 degrees Celcius, though I’ve only got a 5 degrees photo to show.
