Finally Finished!

Yep, as of Friday gone I’ve now finished all my field work relating to my Honours wallum frog project. As already noted elsewhere, I’m extremely grateful and appreciative to everyone who has come out with me and put up with extreme temperatures, rain and leeches for an evening or more. I know at times I haven’t enjoyed it anymore than anyone else and yet several of you came out more than once. In saying that, there were several highlights too (like finding a frog – joking (well, sort of)).

Below are just a couple of pics of two very unusual looking wallum froglets (Crinia tinnula), believed to be young males.

We're looking ok at 10:30pm after completing the last three frog surveys. Burgers, fries and Fanta on our minds.

Now begins the final data and statistical analysis to work out what it all means! Exciting stuff but sometimes hard to understand the reasons behind the results.
