During the off-season

I thought that while I/we (maybe just me?) waited for frog season to ‘officially’ begin that I’d post about an event that happened during Winter, or more specifically, the frog display by the Queensland Frog Society (QFS) at the Queensland Garden Expo in Nambour during the 6-8th July. I’d been looking forward to helping out and was not disappointed! The display drew significant interest from people with queries about what frogs they think that have on their property, their calls and questions about the Society. Jenny Holdway (long-time QFS member and organiser of this display) gave presentations on frogs which was also very well attended (packed out in fact!). Mention also goes to Desley, Tyronne and a few others who also held the display during the expo. It was the second time the QFS has been involved at the Queensland Garden Expo.

QFS Display
QFS display had good visibility as large crowds stopped to look and ask questions about all things frogs.

Large crowds flocked to see the presentations made daily. (I practically had to squeeze past the people standing outside who were also watching to get this shot)
